What is 20/20 for plants?
NPK 20 20 20 is a highly concentrated, balanced plant fertiliser. It contains equal parts nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. It is ideal for growing plants in poor quality soils as it provides a high amount of each of the three essential plant macronutrients. NPK 20:20:20 contains slightly higher concentrations of each nutrient compared to NPK 19:19:19. This means it can deliver a bigger nutrient boost with the same quantity of fertilizer. For crops that need intensive nutrition, NPK 20:20:20 might be the preferred option.
