Why can’t I plant my seeds?
Some seeds germinate only in the dark, while others require light to begin growing. Seeds planted too deep may not be able to emerge because they’re not getting enough warmth and light. Seeds planted too shallow may dehydrate before they have a chance to grow. Make shallow indentations in the media and sow the seed evenly. Lightly water the surface, and place the container in a warm area (not in direct sunlight). As seeds germinate, move seedlings to a well-lit area, such as under fluorescent lights.
Why can’t I plant in Minecraft?
Sowing. These crops can only be planted on farmland, which is produced by using a hoe on dirt or grass blocks. If there is no water nearby, farmland dries out and reverts to dirt, but only if there is no crop yet planted on it. After you have the item you want to plant, you need to create a Hoe at a Crafting Table and find an area to create farmland. Farmland can only be made by using the Hoe on top of a dirt or grass block. Now, you can plant your seed in the dirt to let it start growing.
How do I use a Minecraft seed?
Click More World Options. At the top of the options menu, you’ll see a blank text box. Type in any combination of letters and numbers here. Whatever you type in will be the seed that the game uses to generate your world. Locate the World Seed you are wanting to add. Go to the Basic Settings on your Server page. Scroll down to where you see “World Seed”, it will be the 4th option.
