Do you draw in 3D animation?
While drawing skills may not be essential for creating 3D animations, they can still be valuable in certain areas of the animation pipeline. Storyboarding and concept art, for instance, are critical stages where artists sketch out the initial ideas and scenes. Drawing is both a talent and a skill. Some people may have a natural aptitude or talent for drawing, which can give them a head start in learning. However, talent is not a requirement to become proficient at drawing. Drawing skills can be developed through practice, learning, and dedication. There are several categories of drawing, including figure drawing, cartooning, doodling and shading. There are also many drawing methods, such as line drawing, stippling, shading and tracing (drawing on a translucent paper, such as tracing paper, around the outline of pre- existing shapes that show through the paper). The five basic skills include the ability to recognize edges, understand the proportion, perspective of drawing, different colour schemes and putting the thought together. But in the entire process, practicing, again and again, is the main factor that will enhance your skill and bring a difference in the art form.
