What is the best summer potted plant?
Depending on which growing zone you’re in, you’re probably pretty much right on time for the beginning of summer annual season. Impatiens, coleus, begonias, fuschias are a few of my go-tos. They’re all very colorful, relatively easy to keep, and do great in pots. Ferns are also a nice option. Choose hardy annuals such as sunflowers, poppies, cornflowers and pot marigolds – they all germinate quickly and are easy to grow. Bees and butterflies love them too!
