What is the travelling merchant in Grow a Garden?
As the name suggests, the Travelling Merchants offer you a new way to purchase items in Grow a Garden but they’ve not always available! There are five Travelling Merchants, including the Gnome Merchant, Mutation Spray Merchant and the Sky Merchant. Merchants are NPCs that spawn to the left of the Seed Shop with a chance to spawn every 4 hours, letting a player buy the things within its shop. A merchant leaves or despawns every 30 minutes.In Grow a Garden, a traveling merchant appears beside the seed shop every four hours, but it is sometimes not guaranteed. They only spawn for 30 minutes in Grow a Garden.In order for the Traveling Merchant to spawn, at least 2 other NPCs must already be present. The Guide counts as one of these, but the Old Man and Skeleton Merchant do not.

Travelling merchants appear at certain times of the day, with most being on a four hour timer but not all guaranteed to make an appearance. How rare is the Gnome merchant in Grow a Garden?
The Gnome Merchant is one of the possible Traveling Merchants that can appear in Grow a Garden. They arrive every four hours and can be found to the left of the Seed Stall. The mystery merchant appears in the camp after being rescued by the hero inside of a ship in Pumpkin Pastures.
