What kills tiny mites?

What do garden mites look like?
Mites are oval-shaped and tiny, usually barely visible without magnification. Body color varies, often pale or yellowish, brown, purplish, orange, or red. All mites have piercing-sucking (straw-like) mouthparts. Mites are generally bulbous in shape with round or teardrop-shaped bodies. Like other arachnids, mites get around on eight jointed legs. Depending upon the species, a mite could be tan, brown, black, green, blue, or possibly bright red.
