The best times to visit are spring and fall. In late April and early May, the cherry blossoms are blooming. During early June the amazing rose garden is at its peak. In fall the colorful leaves make a wonderful scene. Autumn and spring are great times to visit, not only because the days are cooler, but between the gorgeous fall foliage and lush gardens in March and April, visitors have the best of all worlds.This is a fantastic gem in the heart of Brooklyn. Even though I went in Autumn when all the flowers were gone, it was still worth a visit. The spectacular oranges, reds and yellows were a feast for the eyes. At this time of year it’s also ‘Pay What You Wish’ which is an added reason to visit.
