Why are my seeds not germinating after 7 days?
Seeds planted too deep may not be able to emerge because they’re not getting enough warmth and light. Seeds planted too shallow may dehydrate before they have a chance to grow. Seeds need constantly moist soil to sprout—drying out can stop germination. Seedlings need daily watering (sometimes more) until they grow deeper roots. Use the 2-Inch Rule to know when to water as your plants mature.
