If the player plants Mixed Seeds in the Winter in their Greenhouse, they have a chance to produce one of any seed that can comes from them. Crop type: Only five crops in Stardew Valley can turn into giant crops: cauliflower (spring), melon (summer), pumpkin (fall), powdermelon (winter), and Qi fruits (year-round). Any other combination of crops will not have a chance of spawning into a giant crop.Crops in the greenhouse if you’ve unlocked the greenhouse, winter is a great time to continue growing high-value crops like starfruit, ancient fruit, or even cranberries. These crops offer year-round profitability once you have access to this valuable space.During the Stardew Valley Winter season, the only crops you will be able to grow outdoors naturally are those that grow from Winter seeds, as well as Powdermelons and Fiber seeds.
